Sorry Dad has been a little lazy keeping up with the blog the last week. But I'm back in action. Luke is doing great. We went to the pediatrician on Wednesday and he checked out pretty much perfect. He has gained all his weight back and then some. He is up to 7 lbs 151/2oz. The doctor said that we needed to get him on a schedule now. He wants him to eat every three to four hours. Its is taking a little getting used to but all in all its not been to bad. Also, he wants us to give him 1 bottle a day. This way he get used to also bottle feeding. Its pretty cool since I am the one that gets to feed him.

We also got our family pictures made on Wednesday. We went to the same photographer that did our wedding pictures. He does a baby package that we really wanted to do. We will get them back next week and we will see what we can do about posting them. Well I know that all any one wants to see is more pictures so I will put some up tonight.

Here is Luke's second bath (We forgot to take pictures of the first one). He is not a real big fan of taking baths yet. Christina is the soaper and I'm the rinser. Its kind of a team effort. But here are the pictures.

First Doctors Appointment

Everything has been going well. Last night Luke took his first bath, he didn't really enjoy it. He pretty much just screamed the whole time. This morning we went to the pediatrician and he checked out with a clean bill of health. When we left the hospital Luke had lost some weight, he was down to 7lbs 4oz. Today he had put some back on to 7lbs 51/2oz. The doctor said that he would gain about 1/2oz a day. So, he should be back up to birth weight in about 10 days or so.

On a crappy note I have to go back to work today. I'm not really excited about it but someone has to since Christina is home for the WHOLE SUMMER!!!!!! Its going to be tough for all of us, Christina was a little upset yesterday when I went to the Carolina vs. UNCW baseball game (not because I went to the game but because I was not here and she missed me). I will try to update some pictures this evening when I get home.
