29 Week Ultrasound Pictures

Here are the newest pictures of the baby. We were able to see him in the 3-D ultrasound. We also found out that the placenta has moved out of the way and thats a good thing. I'm not to sure what that does but if its in the way it can cause severe amounts of bleeding, so I'm told. The kid is also 5 days ahead of schedule in his growth. They say that it is not going to move up the due date but I think that he may come a little early. I will get pictures of the nursery up later this week. I know that everyone wants pictures of Christina and I will see what I can do.

He has a name

Well, we have come to a consensus on a name. It has only taken us about 4 months to find something that we both liked. If Christina liked the name I would have an issue with it and vise versa. We have finally come together and decided on a name. We are going to name him Lucas Everett Holder. We are planning on calling him Luke. We hope that everyone likes it and if you don't, o well its not your kid!!!

Everything is Going Well

I just wanted to post this week and say that all is going well. We went to the doctor last week, Christina had to have her test gestational diabetes, everything came back fine. We have also ordered the furniture for the nursery. It should be in later this week. We will put pictures up when we get it all set!! We will also have another ultrasound next week because Christina is bigger than she is supposed to be. We will put those pictures up as well and let everyone know whats going on.

Kicking Kid

I finally have felt the kid kick. Christina has felt him for the past month or two but every time that I would put my hand on her belly the little stinker would just stop moving all together. Finally, tonight i got to feel him. Christina had just taken a shower and had waddled her way down stairs. She put my hand on her stomach and I figured that it would be the same old thing he would just stop moving. Not this time I was finally able to feel him.

With respect to the picture of the pregnant one, I am still working on it. She said that we will put one up tomorrow but we will see.

Heart Update

We went to the baby doctor about two weeks ago. Everything is going well with the pregnancy medically speaking. The heart issue is due to being pregnant and everything is progressing as normal. Christina is starting to get to the uncomfortable stage. She is really having a difficult time sleeping. She also is having some killer heart burn. She is trying really hard not to complain and pull some weight around the house but I'm picking up some slack. I don't really mind since life for her right now kinda sucks!! I will try and get her to post a picture soon, I know that everyone wants to see her but she doesn't like having her picture taken right now.

Nursery in the Works

So I have been off since Tuesday and Christina and I thought that this would be an opportune time get the nursery going. We went to the hardware store and picked out pant. We thought all was well until.....
Things were fine after the Khaki went on the wall. Christina came home and loved it. Then I painted the blue. It did not go over as well....

At this point I thought I was done painting. But, I was wrong. This is the wrong color blue. They mixed us the wrong color at the hardware store. I had to go back and get a new color.

Here is blue number two!! Let me tell you how excited I was to paint this color.

Here, the room is pretty much finished unless we decide to put up crown molding. It has only taken about 4 day (2 days longer than I expected). But, things look great and we are really excited about it. We plan on getting the furnishings in about three weeks then we will be rolling.
