Target Deals

Today Christina and I went to Target to register so that we had two places for people to go find things. What we found were some KILLER DEALS!!!! I know, I know we aren't supposed to be buying things for ourselves but we couldn't pass up the deal we got on our swing. Its the same thing that we registered for at Baby's 'R' Us but we got it for $35. So, if you are a new parent or parent to be check out Target this week. You may have to look for somethings and do some price checking but if it was on clearance then they have marked it down again and there are some good deals. Happy hunting!!

Calling All Parents

Christina and I have started registering for things for the new baby. We don't know what we need and what we don't need. I was wondering if there was anything that you needed that you did not know you needed before your kids came. Also, what don't you need. I hope to get a bunch of comments on this message. We are willing to take advice from everyone. Your kids don't have to be young anymore. This means everyone thats a parent. Thank you in advance for your help!!!

Heart Troubles

Christina and I went to the heart doctor on Wednesday. They don't think that it is a big problem but she did have to go in today and have an echo cardiogram to make sure that there were no defects or problems structurally with her heart. She also had to wear a monitor for the day, this was a source of stress for Christina. She really did not want to wear it. She wanted to have a smooth pregnancy with no problems. This heart issue was a bump in the road that she didn't want to have to deal with. Hopefully, she will have all the tests come back as a simple as the doctors say. They say that she has a problem with the return of the blood due to the swelling of her uterus that causes the blood pressure to drop and the hearts reaction is to start beating rappidly to try to keep up. So we hope thats all it is.

The day at Babys 'R' Us

Today Christina and I went to Baby's 'R' Us to start registering for baby items. Its was a really fun time. We did not know what we wanted or needed for that matter. We took all the strollers apart and played with them for awhile. We were able to agree on almost everything. I think that we were able to get everything that we will need for our new baby on our registry. Christina and I did pick out a sports themed room for the baby, I know big surprise. It was not all me though. I was the one that said that maybe we should do something else but we compromised on a very nice set. But, if anyone wants to know if there is anything that we need we are registered at Baby's 'R' Us

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!

Today Christina, my mom, and I went to the doctor to have an ultrasound. We were super excited all day. Christina woke up this morning and was all over the place with exited energy. We knew that we were going to find out what we were having. We went into the visit thinking that we were going to have a little girl. I was still holding out that it was a boy. The ultrasound lady was really good she showed his head, his hands, his feet, and oh yeah his little pee-pee. Thats right we are having a little baby boy!!! Everyone that we have talked to is very excited for us, especially for me, Christina has all girls in her family so her family really happy. My family is also happy for us.

19 Week Picture Update

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Finally, I have been able to talk Christina into taking an update picture. Here is her at 19 Weeks. Things are going pretty good with the pregnancy other than the heart trouble. We will see the cardiologist Monday to find out what is going on. We see the baby doctor on Thursday and we will have the ultrasound to find out how everything is going and what the sex of the baby is. We are both really excited to find out what we are going to have. I will try and post that afternoon to let everyone know what we are having.

Not so great news

Well this week Christina has had a bit of a hick-up with the pregnancy. She is having episodes of tachycardia. That is when her heart starts racing and she can't catch her breath. We went to the doctor and he said that she needs to see a cardiologist. The baby seems to be fine and doing well but Christina is having a bit of a hard time. So, now I have to ride her to rest more and try not to do as much. Anyone that knows Christina, knows that she will not slow down for nothing. She is having to learn that she can't do it all. She has to ask for help which is hard for her to do. We will let everyone know what's going on as soon as we know more but just keep Christina in your prayers.
