Lukes' girlfriend is here!!!

Luke was able to meet his girlfriend yesterday. Koral Hunter was born Sunday at 12:50 am (or sometime around there) to our good friends Scott and Ally. She weighed 7lbs 7ozs. and was 20 inches long. I made Luke a shirt to where to see her. I had told Scott that I was going to make one that said I want to go swimming on the koral reef but I decided not to, yet!!

Mommy back to work

Today was the first day back to work for Christina. Is was a little emotional this morning. We have found a babysitter that Luke will go to three days a week with my mom and myself watching him the other two days. Hopefully my aunt will be able to move down soon and she will be able to watch him. They are having a hard time selling their house in Ohio but when they do she will be watching Luke. Today thought is Daddy day care. I haven't really had to do much. Luke has slept pretty much all morning. I will keep things more up to date and get some pictures up this week. We have been slack and haven't taken very many lately. We'll work on it!!!!

Been a while

I know that it has been a while since I have posted anything new but its been a busy time of year for me. There have been a lot of things going on and I will try and let everyone know about them now.

Lets see....
Luke took his first trip to the beach. We went to Cape Hatteras for a week at the end of July. I took Luke into the water and he didn't seem to mind it. I think that as long as I am with him he doesn't really mind whats going on. Plus, he loves the water. He splashes all the time in the tub and really likes being in there. When we got to the beach Christina and I had a bit of a problem, she thought that I had the camera and I thought that she had it. Guess what, neither if us had it. So, needless to say we don't have any pictures of us at the beach. We have to get them from our families that were there with us. Once I am able to get those I will put them up for all to see.

We also went for our two month check up last week. We found out that Luke weighs 10 1/2 pounds ans was 23 inches long. He also had to get his shots and that was not really fun. He screamed when they poked him but that was about it. Later on that day Christina had to take him back to the doctor because he had broken out into a rash all over his legs. Everything turned out to be fine but Christina was a little scared.

Another thing that we are working on is trying to find someone to watch Luke when Christina goes back to work. She starts back Wednesday and is not real excited about it. We were going to have my aunt watch him but they have not been able to move down here yet. So, we are looking for a sitter right now. I am going to watch him the day that I'm off during the week and my mom is going to watch him for a day and then then sitter for 3 days. Hopefully, things will work out for the best and everything will transition smoothly.

Well, thats all I have for now. I will try and get some new pics up soon. I know thats what everyone really wants.

Going Good

The Holder family is going great. Luke is starting to play. He will laugh and make noises. They are really cute. We are doing well as parents so far since we are all still alive. We are interesting to see what Luke thinks about the beach. I will hopefully be able to get the camera downloaded this weekend and put up some new pictures. I know I say that every time but there is nothing new up. But, this time I mean it.

Belly Button

Luke's umbilical cord finally fell off yesterday. Christina was pretty happy that it came off. She saved it in a plastic baggy. Luke was able to take a real bath and he loved it. He kicked and splashed for about 10 minutes. It was pretty cool. I made a little video and I will try and put it up this week if I can. Christina and I are doing well, we are just a little tired. I am taking a long weekend off for the 4th of July so we can spend some time together.
